Making Space Colleague Awards ceremony taking place on

Wednesday 28th June, Hilton Hotel Liverpool
  • On the 28 June 2023 we will be hosting our second ceremony of our annual awards for Making Space colleagues, apprentices and volunteers working across our charity.
  • The awards ceremony, being held at the Hilton Hotel Liverpool, will be a special day that recognises and pays tribute to individuals and teams who inspire others, go above and beyond expectations and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support, carers and colleagues.
  • Last year our winners were presented with a certificate and trophy by Andy Grant - a motivational speaker, Iraq and Afghanistan veteran and the world’s fastest single leg amputee in the world over 10KM - at an award ceremony at Manchester’s Mercure Hotel.
  • You can read about last year’s winners here.
  • There are 10 categories available for nomination, which represent what our charity stands for, what we value and what we aspire to achieve.
  • All Making Space colleagues, volunteers and apprentices, as well as people we support and carers can submit a nomination. Nominations will close on Friday 31 March.
  • A panel of judges made up of colleagues, volunteers and the people we support will review all nominations and will shortlist 3 finalists for each award category.
  • All finalists will be invited to attend a virtual interview to discuss their nomination and will be invited to attend the awards ceremony in June to celebrate and find out who our winners are.
  • Finalists are invited to attend the awards ceremony with up to 2 guests, which can be a colleague, friend or family member - we do ask that one of your guests be your line manager.
  • We will also be inviting all of our monthly ‘Living our Values’ awards winners to join us at the awards ceremony for a special recognition.
